Sleeping pills act quickly. But with long-term use, this medicine causes significant harm. Doctors do not recommend taking sleeping pills for more than 2 weeks, so when you take it for a longer time, dependence on it develops. It is expressed in the fact that after stopping the drug, a very serious condition is observed in a person. In addition, lovers of sleeping pills are awaited by another trouble – a sharp rejection of the drug can lead to the resumption of insomnia and even to more sleep disorders than those that were before. People who take sleeping pills can have the developed various depressions, hallucinations, cramps.

Hundreds of millions of people around the world suffer from insomnia. At the third of them, insomnia is observed constantly or very often. About 15% of those suffering from insomnia use sleeping pills, either under the prescription of a doctor or in the order of self-treatment.
